Last September we made a cake for my brother's 30th birthday.  Like a lot of men my brother loves bacon so much that we decided to make his cake look like a slab of bacon.  Although he is a man of few words, I could tell by the look on his face when he saw his cake how amazing he thought it was.  However when he took his first bite into the cake(which was vanilla, vanilla his favorite, or so I thought) the look on his face was one of extreme disappointment, in fact I thought the man might start to cry and with those sad puppy dog eyes he turned to me and said  "it doesn't taste like bacon."  While we had contemplated making the cake bacon flavor we didn't think that anyone would actually want to eat a bacon flavored cake.  Boy we were wrong!  After spending some time in our test kitchen we came up with most incredible maple and bacon cupcake and five other manly inspired flavors to satisfy our bacon loving manly men and so our line of Man Cakes was launched.  Please come down to our store to check out our Man Cake of the day or give us a call to order a six pack (or more) for the special man in your life!
